Chocolate Butter Icing Recipe
A great icing for chocolate cake, when made well it is like a chocolate cream. Will ice more than 45 cup cakes.
This recipe for Chocolate Butter Icing serves 24 people.
Time required: 5 minutes
(5 minutes to prepare, no cooking required)
Ingredients you'll need:
- 250 g butter, softened
- 6 tbsp cocoa powder, we use Cadburys
- 5 tbsp milk
- 6 cups of icing sugar
How to make Chocolate Butter Icing:
- Sift the icing sugar and cocoa together in a large bowl.
- Add in the butter and a bit of milk and mix with a hand beater
- Keep adding milk to you obtain the right consistency that is required for icing the cake.
You can vary the amount of milk.
